Aruma was one of the best dogs we ever owned; not in looks, not in temperament, not in movement, but in genetics she was an own daughter of Elmo Entrefolhas. We feel the puppies she produced were the basis of our conformation, temperament and movement in our dogs, who now win all over the world. Recently, we acquired another Entrefolhas female. Thanks to Dr. Soares and Professor Procoppio do Valle combining to breed her, and allowing us to import her.

We were fortunate to have a brief opportunity to use Beau in our breeding program. The original intent was to lease Beau and return him to Maggie Bobb, his owner in Puerto Rico, after we had used him for breeding in 1991-1992. We felt honored to have this famous dog entrusted to us. After seeing how happy he was on our farm, Maggie cried and told me to keep Beau and let him enjoy the freedom he had here. We subsequently retired him to a home in the south with a warmer climate. We got only one litter from Beau and we kept two of his puppies, Duke, Lion Hearts Desfeita, and Dereza, Lion Hearts Dereza Eshabeta II. Duke and Deraza went on to produce numerous top quality "hard temperament" puppies. To this day other kennels have their descendants advertise Das Leoas blood. Four generations removed is considered an outcross due to the dilution of the genes involved in Das Leoas. The crossing of this line should be done carefully or the results can be dog aggression, child aggression, and hard to train dogs with more than typical prey drive.

I got some very fancy puppies from Flora. I really regret that we did not show her. She was beautiful, had great movement, and had a very sound, strong and stable temperament. I retired her in 1995 to a family farm nearby, Jazz’s sister. Another excellent  Khalany daughter.

Dozer is a fine brindle male, we used him when he was made available to us, but most of his life he lived at a distance that was inconvenient. We were always sorry we did not keep him. He went to live with Roseanna Folck of Gatekeeper Filas where he enjoyed excellent care and lots of love from her young children and enjoyed living indoors.

Tempest- 144lbs 28 "

Tempest-

Tempest is a  lovely big female who is the daughter of Cyn and Kodee.  Tempest is a dog of uncommon  stability and intelligence.  I do not consider her extreme  in her reaction to new situations or people.  She listens well to instruction and gives only quiet growls if the situation or person is perceived as possibly threatening.  She is a dog that we can take  leashed into a public setting and as long as no one stares into her eyes attempts to touch her or me and maintains a distance of aprox 5 feet she will remain in a sit on command or  stand positioning herself between me and the potential threat.  "Tempe" loves  going for van rides and  runs  up in the mountains on logging trails.    As you can see she is  pregnant in her photo so  her  adventures have been recently curtailed to the farm.  Her DOB is 3/17/07 and this is her 1st litter.  Her health is excellent as is her type and temperament.   This  dog is of the personality that many people request for  home protection dogs.   A lady until  she  feels the  need to move to the "dark side"  to protect her pack / family.

Vidor- 165lbs 29 1/2"

Vidor-

Photo at 11 1/2 months of age.  Vidor is not afraid of anything.  He is calm and confident, he is a thinker.  Studies the situation and then reacts if warranted.  This dog uses his huge body to manipulate other dogs and people- positioning himself in front of or behind "to push".  Reminds me of a piece of heavy equipment that does its own work without an operator.  Vidor protects me and his dog friends in the same way.  I can always tell when he is concerned on my behalf.  He stands beside, then in the front as if he needs to be sure before he wants me to proceed.  I like having a bodyguard  LOL who is so big and intimidating yet so kind and loving to us.  Very stable, very smart.
