Be sure your dry kibble is meat based not corn based. I add Champagne Race Diet cooked food for the a.m. feeding (canned Pedigree has no soy), If you choose to feed canned dog food instead of cooking meat. Half a can if feeding canned food or 1 cup of cooked meat. SOY PROMOTES BLOAT! |

| Please read the labels on dog food you choose to feed, and we want you to
cook REAL meat for your puppy/dog. We do it here every day.
Chicken or hamburger can be purchased reasonably and it is easy to prepare.
Simply put 1 cup of hamburger (enough chicken ( I use thighs fewer bones to
remove) to NET between 1/2 cup and 1 cup of cooked
meat) in a dish w/ 1 cup of water and cook for 4 min.on Hi. Let it
cool and pour it over the dogs dry kibble about 3 cups of dry for a puppy
under 12 weeks. Increase the food quantity to the degree of
consumption. Feed as much as they want to eat w/ out wasting large amounts
of food. Dry food sours in about 1 hour so be sure to pick up and discard
left overs. It is normal for dogs to fast themselves occasionally.
Watch for signs of poor health: diarrhea, vomiting, temp above 102, lethargy
loss of weight or dull coat, distended abdomen.....if any of these symptoms
are present w/ the fasting or reduced intake of food be sure to take
the puppy/dog to the vet for an examination immediately. |
