Hi Dawna, What a great puppy! He is not
afraid of anything! He is chasing Coco now. Coco stopped growling.
Yongyong is now thinking Coco is his mother. However, he can't find
the place on Coco where he can get milk. Coco stepped on Yongyong's
foot. Yongyong is now biting Coco and growling at Coco. Coco starts to
growling. Oh, what a picture! I remember when I got Coco, she was nine
weeks old. Yongyong is now only eight weeks old. That is why he is
smaller than Coco was. Yongyong surely has a strong temperament!
He has not stopped making noise except when he is on my lap. He is
dark. Much, much darker than Coco! He is a black brindle. He can climb
up stairs ( 5 steps) but still afraid to go down. I won't let him do
that. I believe he too young to taking steps. He just shows that he is
so familiar with this surrounding and very close to me and that really
comforts me. Too bad it is raining heavily and will keep that way for
another day or two. Thanks Dawna! Thanks very much for another great
puppy! Best regards! Yuanhong

Hello Dawna,
I hope this e-mail finds you and all your critters doing well.
I just wanted to send you an update on our pup, she is doing very
well! We are so happy with her, she is unbelievably beautiful,
smart, and lovable, and loyal to the end! I've really not had any
problems with this girl except she wants
the whole bed to herself and she doesn't realize how heavy she
really is!
Her temperament has been here for about 3 months and is just getting
stronger and more evident every day. Blue weighs 105 pounds last
time we went to the vet, which was earlier this month. She had a little
"histocytoma" removed off her back left hock, vet said it
should not be anything to worry about.
I have been showing her at the "International All Breed Canine
Association" shows and she is doing quite well, despite having me
as her "handler"! We were at the Purina Mills show
in St. Louis last week-end and she finished with her "National
Champion Puppy Title" and she also finished her "International
Champion Puppy Title" We are very happy with this
girl! I will start her showing with "ARBA" in
August. Hopefully she will do well with ARBA judges also. She
has only had 1 judge out of 6 who did not give an "SG-1"
rating, and that was a judge at the Paducah show who gave her an
"SG-2" for having an "exaggerated top line" and
"eyes a
bit light". Whatever I thought!
I do not have a "scanner" for my web-tv yet, but I will
send some recent photos in the mail tomorrow and you can see what a
wonderful dog she has tuned out to be! Everybody that has seen her
thinks she has the most beautiful head ever! Rachael and I think she is
the most beautiful
dog ever!
This is getting long, I tried to call but couldn't get an answer, so
you'll have to just read all my bragging! Thank You so Much for this
Wonderful Dog!
Have a great day!

So, I am cleaning out my e-mails and realized I have not
sent you a status on Gaston.
So rude of me. I apologize.
Well, Gaston is a little of 6 months and weighs 95 pounds. He
is the biggest love I have ever seen. Just wants to be held
in your lap. We fought and fought with him on the couch thing
but he is soooooo cute cuddled up on the couch that we just let him. He
adores our 23 month old
daughter.
Follows and protects her to the bone. Our next door
neighbor walked into our house without knocking and Gaston ran on the
couch in front of Val and started to growl. Another time a
stranger got to close to Val and he stopped, got in front of Val and
just lowered his head until the stranger moved aside. We took
him to puppy classes. He is ready for advanced. He
did a great job in the class, but is still cautious of strangers. We
tell everyone who comes to our house to just ignore him and let him
decide when he wants attention. Works like a charm. One
time, Kevin helped this elderly couple on a motorcycle. There
motorcycle had broken down on the side of the road. The lady
came into our house while Kevin worked on their bike. She sat
on the couch and Gaston came up right next to her, started licking her,
demanded to be pet, got up on the couch, curled up so close to her and
fell asleep. I was in shock. I couldn't stop
staring. Turns out the lady is going through Kemo and
Radiation right now for breast cancer.
Well, I will send you some pictures shortly. I am not that
good with that sort of thing so I will have my sister help.
I hope all is well with you and your family. Thank you again
for our gift of Gaston. We already got depressed thinking of
the day he wouldn't be with us. We couldn't love him more
then we do.
Dawn
