Painesville officials give vicious dog law more bite

...Painesville City Council had in mind when it unanimously voted Sept. 4 to amend the city's vicious dog ordinance.
 
The ordinance now states that, if off the premises of the dog owner, any pit bull, pit bull mixed breed or other vicious dog, as defined by the Ohio Revised Code, must be kept on a leash and muzzled until the dog's return to the premises of ownership.
