Conquistador is a wonderful family dog who had a strong and stable
temperament. He was rated TT excellent at 12 months old. He is a U.S.
Champion, FBCA, ARBA. Carl Midheff and Dawna Berg rescued conquistador, after
which Carl placed him with a "good home". We lost him in 1995 to
cancer caused by being fed moldy dog food during the time he was away from Carl
and before he came her to live. We owned four of the dogs in his pedigree. He is
Renos paternal grandfather. He was an honest, sensible, athletic male with a
great tolerance, but would defend his family with no hesitation. He spent the
last six months of his life traveling around with a man who love him and allowed
him to end his life well cared for and constantly with companionship in Montana.

We owned Concetta, her mom, who was bred to the well-known World Champ,
Gernonimo of Sachem Farms owned by Vince Tuecci. She was a bitch who produced
numerous champions and had the most wonderful "voice"boy could she
sing! We got only a few litters from Chickee before she was killed in a
dogfight; she only lived long enough to lay her head in my lap after dragging
herself to me. I never could completely forgive the dog that did it. I
know fighting occurs, but Chickee was a very nice dog full of love and kisses
for her family. It was hard to lose her that way.

"D. P." 27 " and 134#s
This lovely young female has an amazingly kind
heart. We just delivered her first litter
of puppies then days later asked her to mother puppies from a
bitch who had died. (Inexperienced Fila vet.......gave anesthesia by
weight in stead of by affect and killed her) This gave her 15 puppies to care
for. She has loved and cared for them all as if they were hers by birth.
D. P. is highly intelligent and one of the most anxious to please filas we have.
She is very protective of all that she considers to be hers. A pleasure just
to be in her company and we assume her puppies will share her beautiful spirit.
